Interagency Culture: DOD and the Interagency
U.S. government agencies, such as the Department of Defense (DOD) and the Department of State (DOS), coordinate and cooperate within a group and process known as the interagency (IA). The “interagency” is made up of many unique governmental entities with different organizational cultures, which can lead to miscommunication and bureaucratic congestion. This film discusses how individuals working within the interagency can avoid such pitfalls and be successful in supporting the mission of their agency while accomplishing the established goals of the U.S. government.

Lt. Colonel John Paul Vann was the U.S. advisor for Colonel Cao ARVN. Vann had came up with the plan to attack a VC battalion discovered outside Ap Bac, Cao and his subordinates stalled and balked and ruined the entire plan of attack and the VC killed numerous ARVN and CIDF forces and shot several helicopters down and failed miserably.

So whatever is happening is going to happen by 2030?
2024?? anyone?
Our Great grandfather was a Member of a guerilla who fought Japanese soldier he was died 90.
Why can't we have a good documentary without the distracting music?
the only American defending real 100 % for i dont know why is Israel Philippines was the only country in Asia for American to use in the war and let it go very fast its sad😢they might do it again and Chinese attack
The Canadians fought with the toughest soldiers the Germans had, the Fallschirmjäger in Italy, the SS in Normandy. Even after huge losses, they always broke the Germans in the end.
Brilliant
*CAN THE REAL GENERAL SLIM PLEASE STAND UP*
And remember boys who won the war agaist geemnan nazy was USSR , not USA, brittains something similar. They called "The great patriotic war" meanwhile in occidet they just named this conflict like WWII 😂
It is clear that the American military leaders were in coo coo land. Without even a clue to their real military capabilities. Nobody were better at production of materiel, but completely clueless about how to wage war. This completely destroys the idea that the Americans were superior to the Germans in strategic thinking.
❤❤❤
Joining the SFAB definitely an interesting, impactful, eye-opening assignment. Was rewarding in a completely different way than I had previously experienced. Not only do I feel I had lent value to a bigger picture, but also found value in myself. Great path.
Can you see the stars?
In Ap Bac the ARVN commanders refuse follow the guidance of the American advisor flight about the battlefield because they "don't take orders from Americans". The paratroopers land in the Vietcong line of fire because their command don't accept the American advisor instruction for landing behind Vietcong lines. If an ARVF commander lost many soldiers, he lost their face, can lost his command, his career - Dien want fight a war without causalities. In the end ARVN commanders lost the battle, lost many soldier and lost their faces.
Us lead bush lied afer that debacle iran became the power it us now you now know it was all lying busd administration were all idiots
As of 16/06/2024 the usa is 33.000 billion of public debts are a country that lives under Narcan
My grandfather was a pacific theater vet from ww2 he died years before I was ever born but the stories he either written down in his journal or told my grandmother and mom he said that the Japanese military man is a tenacious brave and willing to die for their beliefs and they would come in waves like it was never ending and the tunnels were absolutely terrifying to go in
This clip from a lecture given to the Imperial War Museum casts more than serious doubt about trusting him as an historian. At best, he’s decimated the achievements and character of General Sir Charles Gordon purely for the fun of it. At worst? One must ask, as most lies have their use- to hide a disturbing and potentially dangerous, truth about themselves ruclips.net/video/_JXqhusYgMM/видео.htmlsi=r0CZh8an9D5zu7oS
Wrong channel my friend. Gordon Corrigan contributed nothing to this short film. Additionally, Major General Charles George Gordon died fighting the Mahdi at Khartoum seven years before Slim was born. So I’m confused as to why this is somehow relevant.
Wasn't Saddaam Hussein put into office by the United States? Yes they did around 1963. Saddaam worked with the CIA back then also. It doesn't surprise me tho cause the US built the Al Qaeda force and put Osama Bin Laden in power to protect and fight against the Russians back in the 70s or 80s. FYI. Sad but true! Look it up.
18 intelligence communities. That is a big problem. Obviously.

I always imagined the interagency as a place where someone like Milton Waddams goes for 5 years before they finally stopped sending him paychecks and he starts asking questions
19:51 why is burma called thailand? And why is hainan not part of china
369 pješčka pukovnija💪
This needs to be a Canadian made movie. So much raw detail and first accounts to use.
Why is the US Army the only f-ing place you can get some decent analysis of china ? Please put out more stuff about china, considering we are told China is our biggest channel, it is almost impossible to find out any decent information about china without it being politically motivated. Like I just want some information that isn't trying to manipulate me to want to hate china and think they are awful human beings.
My great Grand father told us about his past during world war 2 here in Cebu philipines and he has american soldier friend named EL
i have always been curious why it took so very much troops ewuipt and supplies to beat a single mostly already defeated country . if you took all the vehicles ships planes personnel supplies. used to . fight Germany it would all barely fit in germany. sometimes i wonder how much corruption.. i.e mk. 14 torpedoes etc was involved on the allies side
The Supreme Allied Commander and therfore Slim's boss was Lord Mountbatten, which people seem to forget
But that didn't happen until August 1943, long after the period covered by this film. Between 1941 and 1942, Mountbatten was in Europe, commanding Combined Operations and planning and executing the raids on St. Nazaire and Dieppe.
I’m terrified to see how bad the army of 2030 will be
I was part of OIF!
I hope they include Desmond Doss
my grandma was born 1928, she was so beautiful and meztiza looking thats why her family fled to mountainous area to avoid japanese... they even put some charcoal powder to their faces to avoid sexually assault. they were scared to the sounds of marching boots of japanese soldier passing through their village.
Bless the guy cutting them lines. Bet he wasnt hot anymore though.
Can anyone give me the number of German divisions and their strength in the 15 German Army who manned the Pas de Calais
have 2 grandfather 1 of them is died and 1 of them still alive after the ww2 my 1 grandfather is a army and he died
Kadena is pronounced ka-deena
Japan got off easy from ww2 i dare to say they killed more civilians than Nazi Germany yet when it came to de nazify Japan ( fully aware not Nazi government ) to change how they developed after the war and to forbid dangerous ideas comming back - they gave up ! As a result Japan of today still have the old Juctice system (If you can call it that ) Japanese history books teach the children that Japan was forced into war and they didn't commit any massacres. And now old ideas star to spread in Japan and the coutry is going to extreme Ultra Right Nationalist !

At 43:47 I wonder what was said!
